This past weekend I joined the Taipei chapter of Scott Kelby’s Photo Walk.
It’s a annual social gathering of photographers in cities all over the world. Basically, photographers get together, go for a walk, then all meet up for dinner. Afterwards, you can upload your two best pictures for a chance to win some great prizes, but I think the main idea was just to go out and have some fun.
Craig Ferguson set it all up for us and I think it’s safe to say that we all had a great time.
Here’s a link to a Flickr page with some of the photos from the day and a handful of the photos that I shot:
It was nice to meet all the people that I met, and I’m sorry I didn’t get the chance to talk to everyone! I’m looking forward to next year already!
Cheers,

Thank you!
Here’s an interactive 360 degree panorama of all the Photowalkers – tr.im/txdP Note Josh in the purple with this camera in your photo above and in the 360pano – we must have pressed our shutters at almost the same moment.
I do love how quick and easy it is to set up CLS on my nikon, I just find that for most pro shoots I can’t depend on it enough to use it. Which is a real bummer because you can get such high sync speeds with it… Although these new pocket wizards sound like they might solve that problem.
I agree. I’ve been using it more and more for quick shots like this, but I still use Cybersyncs for pro shoots.
