Photography from Taiwan

Being a photographer in Taiwan, I have my fair share of random pictures from my daily experiences.  Here I present you with a few that I came across in the past few weeks:

Hanging out at my friend’s new house in the Daan District and admiring the view, I got a great idea for a portrait.  Luckily, I have the sort of friends that don’t take much convincing to do things like this.

It took a little convincing, but Ed was up to the task of climbing onto the ledge. (Hey, I had to lean out there too!)

We don’t get treated to a lot of sunset like this one in Taipei, but when we do, they stunning.  See the plane?

Next time, I'm going to see if I can convince someone to climb one of those trees and wave.

I’ve only been blogging about my experiences in Taiwan for a few months now.  If you’ve been following, you know that I love being outdoors.  As the summer approaches, you can expect many more pictures like the ones below.  My friends and I spend as much time as we can hiking, camping, motorcycling and river tracing.  Here are a couple of pictures from one of the first nice Saturdays we spent hanging out by a river in Wulai, Taiwan.

One of my favorite pastimes in Taiwan... skipping stones.

The weekends that aren’t so nice, we try to see a live band in one of the music venues scattered around Taipei.  Aphasia 阿飛西雅 is band that puts on an incredible My Bloody Valentine/Ride/shoe gazing inspired show.  I saw them at Underworld; a great club for that smokey, intimate ambiance.

Thanks for looking,
-neil

    Hi,

Is there any way to fix it?
